You need to give your brother's contact details and he needs to sign it. The HO needs the credit card owner's (your brother's) authorisation to charge the card...if you are not named on the card, your signature will be useless.

I don't see an issue with the card holder being in a different country than the applicant (but I am not 100% clear that it's ok), but you'll need to have your brother print that page, sign it and send it to you in India so you can include it with your application.

It's probably best if you call the HO and ask them, just to be safe.

Hi,
I wrote this ques to HO (WPCustomers <wpcustomers@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk>) and got the below reply:

Q: My friend in UK is willing to pay for my application through her UK-based cheque. Is it allowed? If yes, whose details should be entered in the "Contact details" section of "Payment slip"?

A: It is ok to pay for the application using your friends UK based account. It should be noted however, that if there is a payment error the application will be sent to yourself overseas.

I think that this sud be applicable to CC as well.

Thanks!
