South Eng & London test/test mgmt job mkt for HSMP guys?

Post by suresh_India » Sun Jun 17, 2007 6:19 pm

Hi guys,

I have been in London for last 3 months trying all options to get a testing job either perm or contract. I do have 10 years experience in testing , winrunner, loadrunner & test management. I was working with CMM Level 5 company in India. After HSMP I got a permanent job offer, based on which I resigned from india hopeing to join here. When I contacted here the agency & company changed their mind already took some one for lower salary. So I lost that opening. Since then lfor ast 3 months I have been trying all options & using sites liek jobserve, jobsite, reed, ITjob board to get a decent job. But not yet successful. Due to financil difficulties I am ready to take Junior tester role (though I was test manager in india). If any of senior guys in this forum looking for Junior tester around south england & London please reply...Thanks very much & please help me ..

Suresh

Hi Suresh,
If you have the job offer the company offered you the job and didn't give you that job, why don't you sue that company.

I agree with this statement, if you have all evidence bring it to solicitor, I am pretty sure there will be very interested to deal with your case. You could demand for compenstion money which will be much higher then the annual salary that you could imagine.

I doubt it! Compensation in the Employment Tribunals relates to actual loss.
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.
