HSMP Visa Duration & EC

Hi,

Can anybody please tell on what basic HSMP Visa duration will be decided (1 year or 2 years)?

Is Integra and VAF1 form for EC can be submitted at a time?

The HSMP VISA will be granted for two years. This is what I have understood after reading different posts here.

EC appication & INTEGRA verification forms have to be filled together. However, if you want you can apply for a pre-verification by INTEGRA (only if you are currently in UK and want to minimise your stay in India) & just apply for EC later on, providing the INTEGRA screen letter with the VAF Form

Not necessarily, the wordings are intial LTR would be granted upto 2 yrs. I have seen many instances in different forums of people being granted one year only
