can Canadian Immigrant work in US without any work permit?

Hi all,

I know its abit silly question but need to know.
Can any person who recently migrated to Canada, can go US and work with out any work permit, or does he need any paper work to work in US?

You need a work permit.

There might be exceptions for unusual circumstances, but if you mean most normal jobs where you are employed by someone for regular, stable work, you'll need to get the paperwork in order.

The good news is that, for Canadians, the process tends to go smoother & faster since you come form a trusted country.
