Tier 1 General to Tier 1 Entreprenuer

Post by zeeshanzaheer » Sun Dec 08, 2013 5:09 pm

My sister currently has Tier 1 General. She wants to switch over to Tier 1 Entrepreneur.
my question are
1- can she apply inside the UK?
2- Can she rely on the third party funding as the funds available to her from her real aunt?
3-Her aunty has £200,000 in her account
4- Does she need business plan and Declaration from Aunt as well ?

Secondly....if my sister show that she has already invested in running business can she make an initial application on the basis of already investment in existing business????

please advice

bit surprised - why do you want to switch from tier 1 general to tier 1 entrepreneur when you can do business in tier 1 general also and with much more flexibility..

i have read that if you are on different category and already invested then you can claim 75 points directly.is it true?

see the 2nd paragraph...is it for intial applications as well?

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ent-funds/

"If you have access to at least £200,000
You can score points if you can prove that you have access to £200,000. This can be your own money or money made available by other people (known as 'third parties'). A husband, wife or partner is a third party.

If you are basing your application on funds from third parties, each of them must make a declaration that the funds are available to you or to the business that you are running. A legal representative must confirm that the declaration is valid. If you have formed an entrepreneurial team and you are relying on funds from third parties, each third party must confirm that the funds are available to both you and the other member of the team.

If you have already invested all or part of the funds in cash directly into one or more businesses in the UK
If you have already legally established a business in the UK while under a different immigration category, you may use funds already invested, if the investment satisfies the requirements. If all of the money needed has been invested, all of the 75 points can be awarded.

The money used for the investment will only qualify for the award of points if that investment was made within the 12 calendar months before the date of application. If you made the investment in the business more than 12 months before applying to enter the category we will not consider it. In this case you must make a further full investment of sufficient money in the 12 months before the application, or have access to sufficient money, to meet the requirements"
