Income BAND or Income LEVEL?

Post by seek hsmp » Sun Jun 24, 2007 2:28 am

As per HSMP Guidance, Page 27

37. There are five income bands that have been set by HM treasury.

Assumed: Band A, B, C, D, E

The HSMP form contain a question

Q31. Please insert the relevant income band from the guidance notes:

The answer to the given question is Band A, B, C, D, E or the Income LEVEL as £ _____+ ?

There is a difference between Income BAND and Income LEVEL.

The given question is vague.

I know it is confusing but this is how you need to fill:

Q28. Please insert the relevant country code from the guidance notes: BAND - A/B/C/D

Q31. Please insert the relevant income band from the guidance notes: ₤ ********+

I filled it in this manner and did not have any problem getting the HSMP.
