Ask your MP to contact them for you. MP should do this for you, if you tell them that you contacted them but they dont reply to you.

This is the only advice i can give you. Hope you hear back soon with good news Insha Allah.

Hi Sayedhashmi,

My wife applied a day after you and still no response. Got one standard response from an email saying its under process etc beginning of November. No response yet from an email I sent a week ago. I think the best option is just to wait until the new year before doing anything else. Inshallah we will hear soon.

I have a question regarding the financial requirement...

I intend to apply for my wife's spouse visa in January. I have 2 jobs, one pays £900 a month and the other is non-salaried and varies depending on how many hours I do. Over the last 6 months I have not earned £9300 because I have been deducted pay for when I travelled to Pakistan to see my wife and daughter.

It is stated on my contract that I should earn £200 a week from my second job, which would normally mean I will meet the £18600 requirement.

Is there any chance this will be taken into consideration or will they only look at my wage slips for the past 6 months?

Salaam akhan47.

The only difference in Category A between salaried and non-salaried employment is how gross annual salary or employment income is calculated:

Where the person is in salaried employment – they must have been paid throughout the period of 6 months prior to the date of application at a level of gross annual salary which equals or exceeds the level relied upon in the application. Therefore the figure used towards the requirement will be the lowest level of annual salary received during the 6 month period.

Where the person is in non-salaried employment – the level of gross annual employment income relied upon in the application will be the annual equivalent of the person’s average gross monthly income from non-salaried employment in the 6 months prior to the date of application (where that employment was held throughout that period).

To calculate this annualised average for non-salaried employment in Category A the following calculation should be used:

(Total gross income from employment held throughout the 6 month period, divided by 6) multiplied by 12 = Income from non-salaried employment that can be counted towards the financial requirement.

So basically they will strictly only take into account gross income? Any 'minus hours' on my wage slips will be ignored?

My apologies, i yes Tallojani Akhan does not meet the rewired threshold.
I assumed akhan47 had earned $9300, just read the script again, clearly miss the "NOT earned" first time round.

It.s Me wrote:Salaam akhan You've earned £29400* so you should be ok, as long as all the required evidence is provided.

*:
Job A: £900 x 6 months = £5400

Job B: over 6 months £9300

Total gross income in last six months = 14700/6=2450*12=£29400 (This is the figure they will use)
Sorry to say this but in akhan case its wrng he doesnt meet the income threshold, regadless of his contract saying his secnd job will gve a minimum of £200 its the actual wage that comes in yur bank must correspond to yur salary so if yu have been away in pkstan for a mont or two then yur wage will not add up to minimum threshold.
May Allah swt make it easy for us all

Thanks for the help guys. I think I may just meet the requirement after I receive my Christmas bonus money. Depending on how much I get, I might make it over £18600.
