pbs dependent maintenance funds

hi Im on tier 1 general and my wife is my dependent we have visa extension in jan 2014 .I have available funds in my bank account from last 6 months . My wife doesn't have bank account in uk how can i show maintenance funds for my wife .Is it mandatory that dependent should have a bank account in uk . Can any one please help

You can show maintenance fund in your own account for both.
