ILR-cohabitation docs

Post by MM12 » Thu Jan 02, 2014 4:30 pm

Hello everyone,

I have a silly question about cohabitation docs required, maybe someone had experience with that.

We've done our first Tier 1 extension via post, and UKBA was quite slow with the response so that the confirmation letter and BRPs have arrived about a month after the visa expiration date, i.e. it will still fall into the 2 year period for our incoming ILR application. Can we submit this letter from UKBA to UKBA as a co-habitation proof?:)

We also have to be registered with police, so we have these "certificates" with our names and address printed on it. Does it count as a proof as well? (to be honest this one is way more difficult and punishable to forge than any utility bill)

Thanks for your help.

Yes to both. In fact anything showing your name, address and post code would be acceptable.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
