Applying for another General Visitor VISA?

My Ecuadorean girlfriend successfully applied for a General Visitor VISA last July, she came to England to visit me and went back on the dates she said in October. She is coming to visit again, but her VISA expires in a week's time so we need to apply for a new one.

Is that okay? There's no rule about somebody can't apply for another one so soon? Or whilst the other one is technically still valid (She's hoping to apply on the 8th and her VISA doesn't expire until the 12th)

Just to clarify she will be re-applying in Ecuador, not England.

I know it sounds silly to ask, but they have so many silly rules and restrictions, i wouldn't put it past them to find fault in this.

How long did she stay last time and how long did she plan to stay this time? There might be other visa which are more appropriate if you guys are in serious relationship.
