switching from PSW (Tier 1) dependant to Tier 2

Hi there,

My current status is Tier 1,PSW Dependant.I would like to switch to TIer 2.

1.Could i apply to switch from within the uk?

2.On the Ukba website,it says any tier1 category can switch to tier 2,does it include tier 1 dependants too?.

Your support will be much appreciated as i am getting conflicting opinions and answers from different people.
