Family of Tier 2 G migrant

I am currently on Tier 2 General.I want my mother in law to visit us in London. I know that she will first enter the UK with a 6 months visit visa. How can she enter again afterwards with a family visit visa? I cant find any link of how she can apply and stay for longer.

Think you need to be settled before you can use the Family Visit Visa path.

In any case the rule of thumb is 6 months in every 12, otherwise the IO may doubt she's a genuine visitor, i.e. effectively living mostly in the UK. There is no way of changing this without there being some sort of catastrophe that prevents it, like Tsunami of something.
