Tier 2 sponsor getting license delayed

Post by vikash23 » Thu Dec 12, 2013 8:49 pm

Hi,

My company applied for tier 2 sponsor license 1.5 months back and still we are waiting for the decision from UKBA.
Could any one please tell me how long will the license process will take.
My visa is going to expire by January 26 2014. What is the best way to contact UKBA other than phone and E-mails which we have done many time and no response from them.

Will I be able to stay in UK for a short period till my company gets license ?

You can apply up to 28 days beyond the expiry date. I can't guess when the licence will be emitted.

Thank you. Then how can I stay in UK for 28 days and how do I intimate UKBA that I am in UK even after my visa was expired ?

Do I need to make any application to stay in UK for 28 days ?

You do not apply to stay, you just don't leave and a period of 28 overstay beyond the expiry is disregarded.

If you apply on 26 th of nov then I probably think you will get a replay by Jan 26th because of Christmas holidays. !!!
