Missed Payment details on Appeal form -Guidance needed

Dear All,

My friend submitted the appeal documents and forgotten to enter the payment detail. I asked him to go to the HMCS website and pay it online. When he go ahead to pay on the HMCS site, he needed a reference number which he do not have. Now he is worried about what happen next.

To my knowledge his visa has been refused and though he appealed within the time frame but I think it may be rejected due to non payment. I have also heard that now Home office will issue him some sort of detention letter asking him to come to a place for detention. Is this true?

What are his options now and what he should do? Gurus please give your feed back on this.

well its a poor mistake he made. however if the appeal deadline has already gone then he needs to wait until the immigration tribunal comes back to him saying that there was no fee included and then he can appeal again explaining the situation. in this case there is 50/50 chance that his appeal will be listed. sending another appeal according to me wont be a good decision. if the deadline is not gone yet then just appeal again with fees. but wait for other gurus suggestions as well

i dont know why people are always misguiding other person who is already in big problem. brothers court are not like HO they are well organized... tell him not to worry if he forget to fill up fee section now in few days court will send him a letter saying that he got 15 working days to pay fee... he can pay online or on the given bank account... thats it
it happened with my friend so tell him nothing to worry about and in that letter court will give him a reference number...
