Tier 2 (General) to ILR employer letter

Hi Guys,

Could you please let me know if the required employer letter confirming position,soc code, salary etc needs to be dated within 30 days of ILR application date? (PEO appointment)

I am aware that most recent payslip and bankstatement is required (no more than 30 days before application) but not sure about the employer letter.

The reason i am asking is I would like to prepare all documents in advance like 2/3 months before and would request my employer to issue me required letter. My employer can issue this to me anytime without any problem.
I will be applying in June 1st week (2014) and was thinking to get the letter sometime in March 2014...

Please let me know.

Letter shouldn't be older than a month. Also , you don't have any problem in getting it issued at desired time so why to take risk.
