how long can dependants stay out of the uk maximum.anyone???

There isn't one, however, for settlement, absences should be limited and for good reason.

i think there is no time limit for dependant to stay out of uk. However if dependant wants to apply for ILR later on, then it will be an issue.

As others have said, your dependant have no condition to stay in UK for a particular time, so dependent can spend whatever time they like outside of UK as long as main applicant adhere to the condition of the visa.
The only issue is that dependant that spend more than the required time outside UK will not get their ILR as they should if they have spend normal period in UK.
