Salary slips requires stamp and sign from company?

Post by richie_rohan » Sun Jul 01, 2007 4:31 pm

hi,
Currently my employer sends me payslips via e-mail, which are in HTML format. The wage slips have my name, NI number, Company name, Month, and all the breakage of the salary.

Still if I take a printout do I need to get a stamp and sign on the salary slips?
Regards,
Richie

Per the guidance notes, it is the paper itself that deems whether the payslips are official or unofficial.

So, since you receive yours electronically and they are printed on whatever paper you happen to have (and not your company's official paper), these need to be at least signed by your employer.

As has been discussed on this board, the stamp is certainly a help, but not a necessity.
