PLEASE KINDLY HELP ME

Post by bular » Sun Jul 01, 2007 9:47 pm

I came illegally into the UK in 2000 and on the 24th
of February 2004, i was arrested by an immigration
officer in a dawn raid at my resident then in the UK,
I subsequently claimed asylum with a false name and
date of birth (false identity).

Immediately, i was released from the detention camp, i
flew back home Nigeria with an ETC. And since then, i
have never made an attempt to return back to the UK. I
got married in December 2005.

But last month, i apply to come back to the UK with my
real identity after my Husband was successful with his
HSMP, but i was refused an entry clearance because of
my double identity and also i didn't declared on my
application form that i had been in the UK before.

I was givng no right of appeal. Please what can i do
to join my husband legally in the UK. Or his my hope
of coming to the UK finish.

Based on what you have described, there is nothing you can do. Sorry

BTW I agree 100%, like I said in another post, sometimes there's no way back, sometimes it ain't gonna happen and you have accept it.

Personally I prefer Cranky but if you got the camera, why not?

It would be hard to, since you lied about your identity and they found out. So they might not even believe you are really married to this guy...you might be using him as a pawn (in their eyes) to enter the UK again.

Since you haven't been given an appeal, you can't even argue your case. Even if you were to re-apply, your failed asylum attempt would probably mean they will refuse you again. But, you can try and see what they say the second time round. Clearly, they would have details of your first (and any other) application, so lying to them (or hiding things) would do no good.

No and no.
It only works if you follow the rules. And, by lying and fraudulently applying for asylum you have severly dented your chances. If everyone could just write "Sorry. Now can I be let back in?", do you think it would work? They don't want (and rarely accept) emotional pleas or promises...just evidence, hard facts.
Resubmit another application, but a letter of apology...that would probably be ignored.

My main concern is that will this application has an adverse effect on my husband?
