ILR after Discritionary Leave

Post by ahmadahmad » Sat Feb 01, 2014 2:37 am

Hi
I would be grateful for your reply,
My Case
I came to UK as an international student on 6th March, 2008 (Student Visa valid until 31st July 2009)
I got married with UK national partner
and was granted spouse Visa which was valid until 30-04-2011 however marriage could not be worked out,
hence divorced in January 2010 by court.
I remarried in April 2010 with UK national partner and have been blessed with three children (who got UK passports)
hence granted 3 years limited leave to remain (Discretionary) on 20th June 2011 till 20th June 2014.
My stay in UK is more than 6 years now,
Can I apply for ILR in June 2014 please?

No, you must extend DLR for a further 3 years then apply for settlement from 28 days before 6 years DLR completes.
