It is not stopping you to get divorced from Slovakia. It will take you years and years in Ireland to be divorced and in Slovakia you will be done in few weeks.

Do not confuse your self with the divorce from Slovakia. you are not the first one who will submit a foreign divorce from another EU country, there are thousands of applicants who have submitted foreign divorce to EU treaty section.
You seems very confused, go and speak with a solicitor who will charge you 100 bucks for 30 mins consultation and you will get the same reply what the members are telling you on this forum.
