UK tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa refused

Post by winnie2014 » Fri Feb 07, 2014 5:20 am

Please desperate for your help, my tier 1 entrepreneur visa was refused on the grounds that
1 you have provided insufficient evidence to demonstrate that you do have access to at least £50,000
2 the director loan agreement you provide between yourself and your company does not confirm the amount of funds invested in the business, therefore the funds that have supposedly been invested are unconfirmed.
3 additionally, we have been unable to locate your accountant on the association of chartered certified accountants. therefore the accounts you have provided cannot be relied upon to indicate business activity as they do not adhere to the rules surrounding investment.

I will like your opinion of defending my access to the fund and what documents to submit in my appeal bundle as my hearing is this Feb. I am trying to write my statement.
my fund is already invested and I applied 12 months after my business was open and still running
my account is a member and a fellow of acca,

thanks

@ winnie2014, did your director's loan agreement states that you lend 50k to your business?
First and second refusal points are the same as it relates to access bto 50k funds
Third refusal point is easily defendable if you have proof that your accountant is chartered ACCA.

thank you Olasunkanmi,
the directors load stated that the lender as a director of the borrower grants to the borrower unsecured sterling term loan of a total principal amount not exceeding £55,000 on the terms and subject to the conditions, of this agreement.

From what you state above, you didnt specify the amount you lend to your business. The wording of the agreement you quoted could be interpreted as lending your business the sum of £1 as well, You stated that the loan amount cannot exceed £55,000 but you fail to specify the exact amount.

What evidence did you submitted for access to the fund?
