Legal Representative signatures on Director loan agreement

Post by ishfaqsangra » Thu Feb 06, 2014 9:50 pm

Hi,
just a little concern regarding Director Loan Agreement.
I have transferred some amount to my company as directors loan agreement back in November and some also in December.
if I sign Directors Loan Agreement with the date before the money was transfered in business, can a solicitor sign it with current date ?
2nd.can i get a separate letter from solicitor with current date confirming the loan agreement on that date between me and company.

I transferred money at that time and was thinking I will get it signed by my accountant later on. but accountants are not legal representatives so need to find a solicitor.

Will appreciate if someone can help to find a solicitor in Birmingham who can sort this out for me.

there is not no solicitor/lawyer needed for director loan agreement, its only you sign it as lender and as a company director on behalf of your company, it is always accountant(company) who signs it as a witness and this document then has a legal value.
thanks,

Thanks for reply princess.

I was also thinking like that but once someone got objection and they explained on forum and even Olasunkami given a link explaining that accountants are not legal .
I was ready to get it signed by my companies accountant,I have authorized them for accounts and given authentication code.

I do not know what to do?

@ ishfaqsangra, you dont need a special lawyer/solicitor to sign the agreement, any qualified lawyer/solicitor can sign it for as low as £10 per copy. You can also get it signed by a Notary public authority in your local area.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.
