hi

I HAVNT applied yet but will be soon next month. Employer letter content should include

SOC code

That employer is paying at or higher than the rate in SOC

Employer still need you.

These above 3 are MUST in employer letter, you could ask to include how may days holidays you were/are entitled to.

Hi Kais
Thanks

My contract is coming to end in may and if i apply within 2 weeks-peo then i will still be left with 3 months of my work contract meaning my employer will need me for another 3 months.. Do you think that will be a problem.. ?
Employer can certainly write tht i am required for the 3 months..

Is your situation similar or you still have time for your tier 2 visa to expire?

If you get a letter from employer saying you will continue in your existing role, then should be enough. I don't see why employer won't give you that as you still have 3 months contract left and will continue post your peo appointment

There is no need to specify end date in that letter, either state for foreseeable future or will continue in existing role...it's one and the same.

I agree with SKc84 that employer doesnt have to mention the dates on the letter, only that you are still needed for the job and if they could preferably that you are required for foreseeable/or unforseeable future
