Which address to send additional documents to?

Post by cherrypie » Tue Jan 28, 2014 12:41 pm

Dear members,

I applied for my Tier 1 extension last week.

At the time of application I had my original bank statements from the bank on their letter headed paper till Oct 2013. I had planned to send in an electronic copy (stamped and signed at the bank) for Oct 2013 till Jan 2014 as Lloyds did not have any other statements for my account prepared as yet. When I went into the bank last week Lloyds had refused to stamp and sign the electronic statement as it is now against their policy. I called up Lloyds customer services and they manually generated a statement for me from Oct 2013 till Jan 2014 and sent this out to me in the post.

When I posted my application I enclosed the original bank statements as well as the unsigned electronic statement. I explained the above in my cover letter and also said I will send in the manually generated statement once I receive this.

Today I received my acknowledgement letter (from Durham address) and my biometrics letter (from Sheffield address). Should I send the new remaining statement to the Durham or Sheffield address? Is it safe to assume that my application is now in Sheffield PEO and this is the address I should use?

If anybody has previous experience with this please could you let me know what you did.

Many thanks,
Neres

Hi guys,

I just thought I would post this for future reference for any one who may need this info.
I posted my additional documents to the Sheffield address. This was received by UKBA as they have returned the additional documents along with the original documents I sent in.

Cheers,
N
