Am on Benefits , Suppose visa requirement

Post by elaaf » Tue Feb 18, 2014 12:48 pm

Hi,
I am by birth UK citizen,I have two kids ( 0ne daughter-5 years, one son- 8years). Last year my wife died, Now I am on benefits because to have look after the kids. Recently I got married from Pakistan. My new wife is educated and she have done MS. My kids are school going but as a single father difficult for me to continue the job. But when my wife will be here in UK I will start my job and left the benefits.

So what are the visa requirements for her?

Prompt response will be highly appreciated

Unfortunately you won't meet the financial requirement at present. You need a minimum annual salary of £18,600. It may be wise to wait until the Home Office appeal is heard in the High Court next month. If they lose, the financial rule may well change for the better.

Do you receive any disability benefits and/or Carer's Allowance?

If you're not employed, you need £62,500 in savings. The house in Pakistan would have to be sold before you apply in order for this to be counted towards the sum required.
