Hi it has taken longer than I thought for mohammad13. Shak80 and hi karachi your 8weeks will be completed next week so probably yours will arrive on Friday or on Monday. And yours too Mohammad. Don't worry and wait for another week before making further contacts.
There is quite a good possibility that yours May have already approved and if coming through second class post may take 5 days and in some instances 9-12days from approval date.
If it arrives tomorrow morning don't forget to send us virtual methai (sweets) Good luck

I don't understand why every time miss n. Rafiq replied me.

Don't rely on their responses hun. As they seldom bother checking. Your approval can be on its way to you right now! Keeping the fingers crossed for you!

To be honest they say the app. Number starts with NFEE and then 7 numbers. As was mine. In the letter that u received as acknowledgement letter it is under OUR REF number. Not YOUR REF number

Here is a part from the HO email they sent to me asking about my reference number and telling what it looks like:

In order to provide this information the Data Protection Act requires I be satisfied that you are entitled to this information.  Please provide the following information:

Applicant’s full name, date of birth, address and, if you have one, a reference number (often in one of the following formats: X1234567 or NFEE0312345).

That is the reason I think u might get thref number wrong. Can u check your letter again?

I checked again it's start with G followed by 7 nos and then /2.
That letter is from nationality team :

What avout the letter u got from HO after they debited your fee? As that is the one that matters

Shak80 I contacted the HO twice through e-mail and I had the response back from the same person. That means that HO may have an automated redirection based on e-mail address of the enquirer. The name mentioned in your case is no just computerized response in my opinion through may be based on the information available at the time.

Its mainly section 6(2) Naturalization as a spouse of BC. Did you apply as a spouse if not it is a mistake from their side. If its not as a spouse and based on residence it should be 6(1).

That cannot be correct as my reference number which is under "our ref" starts with SXXXXXXX/003.

My application reference for Tier-1 was also same - starts with S.

Usually the ref number on acknowledgement starts with NFEE. Did you all paid by cheque? May be for cheques they use a different reference starting with A,b, c etc.

Nop I paid via debit card, one thing I notice now since I am in this country they allocated me this no, every time case I'd reference is changing buy HO our ref is same,

That probably is the reason. It used to be first alphabet of your surname followed by numbers. So this must be your HO reference number. Don't worry too much things will be alright.
