Hello, Guys I just attended an Interview. The interview lasted about 50 Minutes. Loads of questions and drilled down on the application that i Submitted. I was working for a company ,Self employed and i have a business as well. So i got call for interview. The interview was started 15 minutes late. Questioned i was asked by them are followed: hope it will help for people like me

1. Can you confirm your address?
2. are you well prepared for this interview?
3. Can you sign this paper?
4. I am not a case worker but i will send all this info to the case worker
5. How much did you earn this year?
6. Can you tell me the ratio of your earnings?
7. How did you get time manage both work?
8. Where all your earnings going?
9. How do you spend money?
10. Is there any other money in your account rather then self employment earnings?
11. What did you do with this money?
12. Tell me 3 of your clients name and address
13. For your 'X' Client what services your provided? They should match with your invoices.
14. How long do you know this client?
15. Where you got your qualification of this services? are there self learnings or you have any educational background to do these work?
16. Tell me your job description.
17. How do you advertise for your self employment business?
18. Did you have any break in self employment if there then why?
19. How do you contact with your clients ? Do you travel? How do u travel long distances?
20. Do you have any accountant? how much do you pay him?
21. Why all this cash deposit in you account ? Why not take direct debit from clients?
22. How do you charge them : hourly or based on project?
23. Tell me you accountant address. Why and how did you choose him?
24. Did YOU PAY ALL TAXES on your last extension?
25. What is your plan for future?
26. Do you do all work on your own?
27. If you have employee how do you pay him.
28. If you are doing good in Self employment why do you bother with the job?
29. The earning you showed in your application is it gross or net?
30. Do you have anything to ask me ?

i have answered all this question very very recently . I have my own business but i didn't show it in Visa application So i have to go through all these questions. I didn't read the guidance before applying because i was so busy with my work so i applied myself with self employment. Now i have to wait for decisions. But they said once the interview is done it usually do not take long for the decision. Funny thing is , interview room was so poorly design that you can listen the next room interview conversation while giving yours.

So you never claimed earning from self employment?? As you said you didn't show it on visa application.

If that is the case how CW suspect or what things made him to check your employment history then found out you have a business?

I claimed earning from Self employment but i have a business too. i Didnt show my business as self employment earning was enough to claim points.

All the questions based on your self employment or your business? I think it should be based on your S/E as this kind if earning more likely be interviewing? As u mentiined your self employment earning was enough and you claimed it so i don't see why ho need you to attend an interview for your own business earning.

Do they ask these questions when you apply for ILR (regardless of by post or in person) as well on is it only for the ext applicants?
