Hi all,

I recently got HSMP approved and now planning for EC.

While filling visa application form, I am a little confused regarding Section 6 of VAF1 form. I was made redundent immediately after filing my HSMP application and is currently free. Does it going to effect my EC application in anyway? What should be written on following sections on VAF1 form.

6.1 Present job and employer
6.2 When did you start this job
6.3 Work address
6.4 Employer phone number
6.5 Fax number of employer
6.6 Email address of employer
6.7 Earning from job

What kind of relationship do you have with your employer?
Normally you get some kind of severance,
when I became redundant we agreed that for reference checking that I would be still with the company for anohter 2 months as this covered the period of severance.

I don't want to lie on my EC application. As it woud be difficult to prove even if the employer certifies it due to absence of payslips and salary transfer in bank account. How would it effect my application if I disclose the fact on VAF1 that I am no more working with this company?

Oh whatever, people are so black and white.
Then just tell them you finished the job in anticipation of going to the UK and name the former employer and dates.
