English Language for PBS Dependents studying in UK

Hi
My two kids both more than 18 years had most of their primary and full secondary education in UK. Will they still be taking the approved English language test while applying for settlement as a PBS Dependent of Tier 1(General). Son is already in the 2nd year of 5 year degree course in Medicine at University of Glasgow and the university waived the English language requirement because of primary and secondary education in the UK while daughter shall be joining the university in September 2014.
