Problem with Letter from University in India

Post by zyx2007 » Thu Jan 04, 2007 7:58 pm

Hello Gurus,

There is some problem with letter from University in India. They saying that they issue only a universal format. which doesnt clearly specify the sentense "The medium of instruction through out the course was in english" and they are not even giving contact details because the controller changes quite aften. And University doesnt even care in what language the course was taught. Its only upto colleges who teach the course and confirms the instruction of the course. Is there any case which was rejected due to letter from college and not from the University.

Cheers
Zyx..

i would suggest you point the university towards the new HSMP changes.

i am sure few people will be willing to enrol at the university in future if it prevents them from gaining employment in the UK, due to not providing letters stating all was taught in English.

Try speaking to different people there, contact the chancellor / vice chancellor.

Not sure why different people in the job each week would matter...surely they have 1 standard phone number and 1 email address used by whoever is doing that job. i.e. they always have same email/phone number on the letterhead of letter.
