bank rejected patyment

my friend applied on 5th may via post
his visa expired on 8 April
still he applied with in 28 days of his visa expiry
so application was valid

but his bank rejected the payment

now he recived documents back on 10th may
now he can apply with same documents?
will his leave will be valid?

as now his visa expired more than 1 month .. more than 40 days

please help him

this is a wrong idea that after yr visa expires u can apply within 28 days. yes u can if there is a good reason to explain the UKBA why it happened otherwise its upto them whether to refuse or not. In yr friend's case what was the reason. another thing once u apply after yr visa expires you dont have the work right anymore whichever work right u had before the expiry. secondly as UKBA knows u already applied but got rejected because of payment u can apply again but yet its upto them whether they will accept it or not. if they dont accept then there wont be any right of appeal from country coz u applied outside of the date. appeal has to be made from home. hope in future he will be more careful if he is given a chance this time. best regards

Its better you ask your friend to explain himself as get the advice.

He would have been in better position if he could pay application fees via postal order or bank draft. Although he knew that he had overstayed his visa but still risked to pay via debit/credit credit.
