Form 16 - Mandatory Evidence?

Form 16 - Mandatory Evidence?

Folks,

I am finding it difficult to obtain a copy of my Form 16 from my employer. My employer is fussy about issuing me a Form 16 since I have already filed my returns for the year 05-06. Will it suffice if I provide only my Saral that was duly acknowledged by the Income Tax department or should I pursue my fight to seek a Form 16? Kindly suggest.
