Post by tuhc » Tue Jun 18, 2013 8:29 am

Hi Guys im in uk on tier 1 enterpeneor, and my partner applying dependent visa from India, and there is a question in dependent application form.

Is the Main Applicant employed ?

My question is what we need to fill in that as we are on enterpeneor visa so we can't work.

Thanks in advance.

Answering no may also mean that you are not doing anything. Technically you are employed for your own business.
To be on safe side. You can mention Yes. and then write a few words beside that as "employed with own business".

Hi,

Is it important to attach any rental agreement with dependent application? Advice please.

Kind regards

Hi. I will be in a similar situation in December so would be good to let us know how the application goes.

To answer your question. I have read elsewhere on the forum that it is advisable to have the Rent agreement having both your names. I think this would prove where your going to living once your partner comes to the U.K. I suggest a rental agreement is a good evidence and might be worth having in the application

NOC from Landlord is sufficient enough

You also might want to study this section where it tells you the difference between being a 'Director' and being 'Self-Employed'
