My HSMP Application

Post by MyHSMPApplication » Thu Feb 22, 2007 8:19 am

Hi Fellas.
I have got some queires regarding my HSMP application.

I am in the United Kingdom for the last 2 years on work permit and now I want to join the HSMP bandwagon.

1) Evidence required to prove the Date of Birth.
As per the guidelines Case worker requires either of the following
a) Original Brith Certificate.
b) Original Full and Valid Driving License.

I am from India, and we used the School leaving marks sheet as a proof of brith. The School Leaving Mark Sheed does indicate my date of birth. I was just wondering whether the same would do the trick for HSMP application? It is really difficuilt to trace back to the Municipality and get my Brith Certificate. Further more, I was born in Dhanbad (Ex Bihar City) currently in Jharkand. Which makes it even more difficuilt to procure it.

Also with respect to the Original Full and valid Driving license: Are we talking about a Valid UK Driving License of would an Indian Driving License do the trick. Also In case of UK Driving License, would a Proviional driving license do the trick for HSMP Application?

2) Proof of Earnings.
I am receiving a part of my earnings as Dividends. The guidelines does specify that
"If shares of dividends are part of your earnings package, they must be shares of dividends from the company you are working for or running. You must provide evidence of the earnings made on the shares or dividends and evidence that it is derived from shares or dividends in the company you work for or run. Dividends vouchers will only be assessed if they form part of the earned income and are not dividends derived form investments"

I am paid dividends against ORDINARY CLASS 3 shares of my company. Was wondering how the Home office differentiate between Dividends as a part of Income and Dividends from Investment.

In my case is it dividend as a part of Income or from Investment?

Do clarify

Cheers!
