Tier 2 sponsor audit

Hi,
I am a tier 2 migrant and UKBA is conducting an inspection at my employer's office next week. I was told that UKBA will be interviewing all the migrants. I am a new joinee and I prefer to stay in a city different from the one where my company is situated. Can it create any problem with UKBA, or is it fine to stay away from workplace and travel to home every weekend to stay with my family?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

this is not a problem as long as your sponsor has a record of your home address. You will presumably be at your workplace when the inspection is carried out.

Thanks for the reply.
My employer is aware of my address and even pay slips have the same address. I would be at workplace at the time of audit. But can they question why i am not staying closer to the office.

They can ask, and you will no doubt explain, but there are no HO requirements in this regard
