Procedure to follow at Indian Embassy in London ?

Post by jag_chandra » Wed Jul 10, 2013 9:53 pm

Hi all,
I was planning to register my baby at london Indian embassy office at Aldwych, London, WC2B 4NA. This is my first time going there, so i wanted to clarify some doubts before going.

1.Is it still, Go Early morning and wait in the queue to get token
2. What time after getting the token do they start taking application ?
3. Is there particular place in the building where we have to queue up just in case to avoid waiting in the wrong place.
4. Is the above address with postcode the right place to go to.
Any other general suggestions to keep in mind ?

Thanks in advance

There are three diffrent queues.
One for OCI application which is the longest (about 120-150 people), the is the one for passport renewals, new passports or misc services which is not very long and was about 40 people when I went at 8:30 am and then there is small queue for OCI collection (about 20 when I went)

They will issue 175 tokens for OCI and noy=t sure about passports but check on HCI london website.
