I need advice 26th week has started almost 6 months, what are my options now excluding contacting MP

If you don't have a solicitor handling your application then contacting your MP to intervene on your behalf is your best option.

You could also complain to the UKBA then following there response (or if not in 8 weeks) complain to the Government Ombudsman.
