hi there,
One of my friend wish to come to UK as a student (to learn english language) and after spending a couple of months learning, he would like to switch over to Tire 1 (Ent. visa- 50K)
Can he do that? Is his plan perfectly legal?

T4 student or student visit? Only with the former and only with Venture Capital from an approved source rather than any source. It is all there in policy guidance
