Do i Qualify for ILR ? pls help

Type of Visa : Tier 2 ICT Migrant
Date of Visa granted : 2nd April 2009
Date first landed in the UK : 9th Aug 2009

I started work in this company back in India from 7th Jan 2008 and from 9th Aug 2009 started working for the same company in UK (Payroll remains the same)under above mentioned Visa type. I’m still under the same Visa type and have got it extended by my employer for 3 times, the current Visa is valid till 5th May 2014.

From 9th Aug 2009 till date expect during the below mentioned dates I have UK payslips and for the below mentioned dates I have India payslips to prove the travel was work related.

Queries

1) Will the above work related travels be counted as continuous period as it is project related in the same company
2) If the above travels are not considered for continuous period, what other options have I got ?
3) In both cases when will be the best time for me to apply ILR
4) There are plans for me to move to Tier 2 General visa type for another employer will the above period be considered or will the clock get reset.
5) Also my current Tier 2 ICT is due expiry 5th May 2014, can i directly go for ILR ? should i extend my ICT
