TR1 Tax Registration - Question 25

Hi,

I have no idea what the consequence of question 25 is - "To what date will annual accounts be made up?"...

My fiance is registering as self-employed and we are living in Ireland in order for me to be able to apply for a Family Permit so we both can return to the UK in a number of months. We arrived in Ireland in Dec and we hope to return to the UK in April.

What date should I put down for the question? What are the hidden motivations for that date that are relevant to my Family Permit application that I don't know about?
