ILR for dependent Daughter over 18

Post by pjoshi007 » Fri Jan 24, 2014 2:12 am

Hi,

I am completing 5 yrs on WP in Feb. I might go for the same day application but wanted to know, In case my visa is rejected for any reason, can my daughter (Over 18) and husband who are my dependents can still apply for their ILR on individual basis?

We have all lived here for almost 9 years and I have 3 children born here. One is 8 yrs old and the other 2 are 5yrs old.

Thank you!

Regards
Poonam

No, unless they qualify under Long residence.

The UK-born children will be entitled to register for British citizenship immediately after a parent is granted ILR.
