Passport after Referendum

Post by raykau » Tue Feb 04, 2014 8:37 am

Hello All

I have had my ILR approved in December 2013 and will be eligible for Citizenship end of 2014.

With regards to this, I wanted to know if there are any definitive guidance as to what Passport will I be eligible for in case Scotland separates for the UK?

I studied in England but have been residing in Scotland for the the last 5.5 years due to employment and had my ILR process at the PEO in Glasgow. I am confused.

If anyone has more insight on this; I would be grateful.

Many Thanks

I doubt they will 'separate'. In any case, you'll be applying before such a split would take place.

Someone posted the proposed plans for Scottish nationality on here a few months back.
