ILR to Naturalisation / Tier1 to Naturalisation

Post by skagga5 » Mon Feb 10, 2014 10:33 am

Hi

I have a question for you guys.

I am on indefinite leave and will be on it for 12 months on the 30th of May 2014. My wife is on Tier1 and her previous visa was a HSMP.

Her Tier1 expires on the 14th of May.

Is there any way we can get out of doing a ILR application for her and get her to naturalise the same time as I do, in other words is there a way to bypass the 16 days from when her visa expires till when I qualify for a Passport and in the process save the cost for applying for ILR for her for 16 days?

Your help and assistance is appreciated.

A person cannot apply for naturalisation if they do not have ILR (free from immigration control)

There is no cheap and easy route unfortunately and you will have to pay for the ILR application.
