Previous Employer Letter

Hi,

I am planning to apply ILR next month under Tier 1 (General), just have a quick questions regarding my previous employer.

1) Should i need a letter from my previous Employer because i am claiming 4months salary from previous employer
2) And Payslip should be stamped and signed ? right now i have online payslips without company letterhead.
