FLR for dependants

Post by query » Sat Aug 21, 2004 7:42 pm

I am currently in the UK in a job. My in-country work permit transfer has come for a different company that I want to join. Now, I need to apply the new FLR for myself and my wife & kid. Is it possibe that I apply the FLR just for myself at present and then at a later point of time for the dependants?

Currently, I and my family have the FLR for the old work permit till April 2005. At present my wife and kid are not with me in the UK. Will they be able to travel into UK in Dec 2004 (based on the old FLR) and then I'll apply for the new FLR for them. Is this possible?

You can apply now for FLR without including your dependents. Your dependents will in any case need a new entry clearance when they return to the UK as their current LTR expired when you quitted your job.
