Spouse leave to remain to ILR

Post by jackal6735 » Thu Mar 06, 2014 11:44 am

Dear friends if anyone could kindly help me on this query.

I had tier 1 general migrant visa and my wife got the dependent visa on 28/09/2011

Once i got my ILR she got spouse visa-leave to remain starting from 19/10/2012 to 19/10/2014

I would like to kindly know whether she is now eligible for ILR visa as its been 2 years since she became my dependent in 09/2011 or can she only now apply for ILR in october this year once she completes 2 years on a spouse leave to remain visa.
please note the application for the spouse leave to remain was made in feb 2012 through post but it took 8 months for the visa to come through.

Highly appreciate any response.Thanks

thanks for your kind reply vinny

based on the same visa categories and time frames as my wife is it possible for me to apply for naturalisation for my 4 year old son directly rather than ILR as he has been 2 years as a minor dependent of a settled person?
