180 days absent

Hi, my friend came in UK in may2009 on hsmp...he is applying for ILR next month but he has spent 206 days out of UK (not due to job) ..plz throw a light on about 180 days rule and he needs extension or should go for ILR.

Hi, Can you get the details of his absences in following format?

May 2009 - April 2010 - No Of Absence
May 2010 - April 2011 - No Of Absence
May 2011 - April 2012 - No Of Absence
May 2012 - April 2013 - No Of Absence
May 2013 - April 2014 - No Of Absence

Once your provide this, someone will be able to help you with 180 days rule.

Based on above along with the assumption I made he is on Tier 1 General Visa it seems he hasn't spent more than 180 days outside UK in any calendar year starting from his visa stamp date, if this the case there shouldn't be any problem.

could u plz paste any link for this information as i believed it should be not more than 180 days out of uk in the whole 5 years....
he has registerd his company and working as a taxi driver.He paid all his tax on time since his extension.....plz guide me about this as well...many thanxxx
