parrent have ilr child born in UK

Hi all,
If parents got ilr and child born in the uk got ilr,
Does child still have to apply or fill mn1 form or child can apply passport direct?

If child was born BEFORE parents received ILR, then you have to register child on MN1 under section 1(3). Once registration as British citizen is approved and certificate is received, passport can be applied for.

If child was born AFTER parents received ILR, then child is automatically British and can apply directly for a British passport.
