CTC & WTC impact on ILR

Post by zubair_hr » Tue Mar 11, 2014 5:04 pm

Hi

I will be soon applying for wife's ILR. Currently I'm in full time employment but my wife does not work at the moment. Our daughter is 16 months old. I have recently got British Citizenship and currently claiming below benefits

Child Benefit - in husband's name only
Child Tax Credit - in both parents name
Working Tax Credit - in both parents name

Can you please advise whether above benefits could result in refusal of my wife's ILR application. Has anyone recently had an experience who were in receipt of above benefits and applied for the ILR? What was the outcome of the application?

Thank you

You're claiming correctly.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
