10 Years ILR

Post by stefanuk » Mon Apr 14, 2014 4:54 pm

Hi,
Could someone answer my following query;

I came to UK on student visa in July 2004 and since that time I have been living in the UK with all visa extensions granted on time; In March 2011, I was granted Tier 1(General), In February 2013, tier 1 extension granted until March 2016; In March 2016, I will qualify to apply for ILR base on my 5-year period under Tier 1(General).

This year in July, I will complete my 10 year long resident, I notice that any single trip spent outside UK should not be more than 180 days

After my calculations, I have spent 256 days in one trip, And this is due to the illness, I have airline ticket to proof that planed return date is earlier. and for the connections in UK, I have kids born here, Properties, and Jobs
Can anyone please advise if case officer will consider this circumstances, Is it necessary to have a try?
